Designer art - NEW CONCEPT

Looking for an original for your home? Calgary artist Elizabeth Laishley has come up with a concept she calls Designer Art, whereby she works closely with clients to commission an abstract work of art that fits in colour, shape and size for a particular room in their home.

Laishley's pieces are mainly large abstracts, diptychs and triptychs infused with colour and texture. To see samples go to artviewconsulting.ca. Her work will be shown in an exhibition at Artpoint Gallery (1139 11th Ave. S.E.) from July 1 to 25, with an opening on July 2 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Looking for the perfect piece of art to complement the designs of your appartment, house or office?

I would like to introduce Designer Art. This is a new concept I have successfully employed with private clients and interiour designers.

Working closely together with my clients, I am commissioned to create a specific abstract piece of art which is designed by colour, shape and size to fit in a specific location as part of the overall interior design and will be entirely unique for you.

To achieve this, I will visit the location and take measurements and work with colour samples on a painting chosen by you from a wide variety of abstract designs from my work.

My works are primarily large abstracts, diptychs and triptychs, infused with colour and texture. They are displayed at numerous locations throughout Calgary.
